| Pros:-cheap-The case looks and feels 100% original-Comes with evrything you need to make your Game Boy SP look like new and match the new color: Nintendo sticker, colored bumper rubber, new buttons, replacement screws...-My sister's GameBoy looks new, and now it is pink (Her favorite color) !(^-^). | |
| Cons:-Theres no How-to manual; had to figure it out all by my self.-I had to buy a special screw driver to open the gameboy-Took me about two hours to finish, it was a little frustraiting since i had never done it before and I was unsure how to do it. | |
| Other Thoughts:-it was a fun project.-I whish i had been more careful with the order of the screws during the disambly.. -theres no need for technical knowledge to do the case replacement, just be very careful and patient while doing it.. | |
| Bottomline:it was a dgood buy, and a fun project. | |
Fits great |

| Pros:Cheap. Good build quality. Looks brand new. | |
| Cons:No instructions. No hinges. | |
| Other Thoughts:Opening the unit was pretty self explanatory except for what to do with the hinges. You will need to pull the hinges from you old unit. With the unit closed they just pull straight out from the outside. To reinstall, close the shell then looking into the hole where the hinge goes. You will see that that there is a groove that the hinge slides into. The rear groove is wider than the front grove (and off center) so you have to get the orientation right. Line it up, put on the end cap and push hard. I put mine on a table and pushed down. | |
| Bottomline:Pretty easy install. I had to open mine up a few times because I didn't screw things together in the correct order (for example you need to screw on the hinge cover before you attach the PCB. You'll need a tri-wing GBA screw driver. | |
