Pros:This is an update to my first review. After using this for a while, the good points remain the same but some other issues have shown up.
Cons:I like the display to see what the settings are but I realize that it isn't very useful because it is blocked from view when I have my iPhone in the cradel. Also, the the fit into the lighter socket is loose and it losses connection from vibrations after a while and has to be reset.
Bottomline:Cheap price but troublesome to use, probably better to spend a little more for a better product. Not the greatest deal after all.

Ok item but does not charge.

Pros:Decent build quality, nice that you can choose and freqency to use as the one to transmit on because in my local area, there is already a station on the four freqencies that are usually selected by devices with a limeted set of predetermined frequencies.
Cons:The plug that goes in the car is rigid and has limited adjustabliity. This is nice as it keeps things from flopping around but can be an issue if there isn't much room. BIG CON: when I connect my device using the built in Apple connector, I get a message that tells me the accesory will not charge. This happens with my iPod touch and iPhone 4. Very dissapointing. I will take a closer look at things to see if maybe there are some loose connections but as of now, it does not charge.
Other Thoughts:The documentation is minimal and the markings on the remote are confusing. I haven't had the desire to use the remote as all the controls ont the iPhone are easily reached from my driver's seat so that hasn't been an issue. The clamp can be a little difficult to adjust as each side moves indipendantly, device can end up off center.
Bottomline:Besideds the big dissapointment that it doesn't charge with the Apple connecter and some quirks in using, it does ok and is a good price. I may be able to work around the charging issue using the headphoen jack and usb port but it would've been nice to only need one cord. I will be trying some other car adapters to see a few more dollars in price would be worth more than that in performance.
